I've been keeping fish since 1990 (21 years as of this post(who knows if it get bumped 3 years from now))
Started keeping fish and reptiles in 1986....so 25 years. I have learned more from this forum though in the past year then the previous 24 in some ways. I used to use these heavy things called books...and Super King filters@!
Got a goldfish tank for my first birthday, strangely Im 18 and one of the goldfish is still alive 
i have been fish keeping for almost a year now but i know a lot of information about fish, freshwater and marine
i got my 30 gallon tank for christmas last year and i got hooked, the next month a bought a used 180 gallon
aquarium with oscars, alligator gar, stingrays, eels, catfish, arowanas and aba aba knifefish.
i got all the fish when they were less then 1 - 4 inches and it quickly got overstocked.
so know i have a 18x5x6 foot 4,700 gallon aquarium coming in the next month.

Since I was 11 years old.I'm 61 now and I have a 15,000 gallon tank.I guess I like this life style.
