try takeing them out for a few days and putting them alll back in at the same time so no one feels like the territory belongs to them

LOL thanks, I am way too scared to put my GT back in that tank, especially at the moment seeing as my male JD is getting picked on by his GF aswell lol
I jjust went and bought some 100% pure sea salt crystals as I figured they would be ok coz I wont get getting anywhere near a shop today to get anything else. I ordered some melafix and it should be arriving today.

I put the GT back in with my JD's but my newest JD is chasing him now. IS she really a female KW? She sure is a nasty piece of work. LOL
I got 2 sets of nails to do shortly as I am a nail technician but as soon as I have done that I will be taking them out and doing a 50% or more water change. Taking out most plants that I would like to keep, removing most rocks and putting in some other ornaments which they can hide in etc that they have never seen before. Will also add some salts. Let see how that goes.

The best way to diffuse agression in my expreiance is to remove the protagonist temporaliy, and do a complete shift about off tank decor, wood, plants and rocks untill all new caves and dens are created.
This should give the bullied a chance to secure a propa home ready for the immenant return of the bully.....

Happy to take a return if needs be jess, but yes I'm sure its a girly (females have lots of blue on the cheeks, males not so). As others have said you may need more target fish to spread the aggro, cichlids can be a real pain sometimes LOL

I done a complete tank change around last night and good wamount of a water change. I added a new ornament even that blows bubbles LOL
I think the agro has died down a little since I added my GT as he now gives the female JD a bit of a run for her money. I also added some salt last night. instead of the 11tbs like meant to be I only added 5 coz I didn't wanna give them too much of a shock (or kill my plants) I am going away for the weekend and will add some more on Sunday when I come back.
Leaving my fish in the the hoping capable hands of my hubby LOL

Well just thought I would do a quick update. It has been a huge success getting the female. I now have fry. They laid eggs Monday and they started hatching this morning I moved my GT from the tank this morning also after they stopped fighting over the weekend. And I also removed my bristlenoses after I foundone in the cave which the JD eggs were.
