How long would your intrest in AROS last?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
i cant get enough of arowanas. I wanted one ever since the day I saw one....now I have 2 and hope to get more:D
i agree the first time i saw 1 i looked at the price and thought im getting one of those 1 day here i am with an arow 6 months later
i think my interest have just began nand will last for another 10 years at least and if leave the hobby ill will come bk into it

Last summer I bought a 55 gal for some fish. I'd never tried fish. So this friend pops in with a bucket and this fish. Much bigger than say..a tiger barb......this thing swan dives across the loft, I'm the only one small enough to get it out from behind the bookshelf, I'm lookin down, it's lookin pisssssseeeedddd so I take off may shirt and plop the fish in the tank and well, here we go!!!! Then I found MFK, so you all patiently laughed at me for awhile but I love my aro, Gu Kaan, he's my pal. I always want one.

A life without the aro would be so normal. How boring.

I have been with arowanas for the past 12 years with 2 2-year break due to transfer of house. My guess that this will be a lifetime hobby.

I LOVE ARO's. I can stare at mine for hours! I'm planning to be able to stare at one for the rest of my LIFE.

I really want an aro but i dont have the tank for 1 yet:naughty: . But i want to keep many types of fish and I am working on a very eclectic collection (according to she who must be obeyed). So my interest in monster fish will last til i die or have to file for bankruptcy cuz i can't afford to feed them all:ROFL: .

you aro fans are really fanatical. Aro fans and Dat fans are crazy. So, I think once an aro fan, most probably stay that for life.

For me, I am not a big fan of aros... they're "alright' but don't really float my boat. I have a big black, only because my wife thinks they are so graceful and pretty. I like the silvers and blacks better than the asians or australians. But I also like an eclectic collection... to me arros are just too "common". Although, I have a Green severum, can't get much more common that that, and I dig that guy!!

ANyway, yeah, you aro guys are a dedicated bunch. That is kinda cool!!

woo hoo :headbang2

glad to see so many aro fans here. :)

must say the one of the satisfaction of keeping an aro is the way they rush for the food. snapping it in one glup and down it goes. you guys agree?
