how many complete comic book saga series do you own?

What are the names Mike B?My earliest comic I own is from 1965 X-men issue 13.I do have a couple of graphic novels, death of Captain America and Weapon X,also Marvel Zombies 2,which that one was a gift to me.I actually stopped collecting modern comics from 2002 up to 2008,but still went to the dollar stores for 1980s to 1990s marvel comics, the owner use to have 5 comics for a dollar. It was super cheap and that is how I built up on my X-men comics mostly, the only reason I am reading the newer comics today is for deadpool really.

Marvel Zombies was the ****! I love how Capt. is just cruisin' around with his brains hangin' out and Spidey is like missing a leg. My favorite part is definitely when Galactis comes to earth and they eat that planet eatin' mofo. Good stuff. :D

Yeah, that was pretty cool actually, not alot of people liked the Marvel Zombies series, but I have the series 2 and 3 only comics, afterwards it became quite dull and not as interesting as the first three series. They also did the whole zombie deadpool head where he meets up with normal deadpool going around getting into trouble. They discontinued that series of course called Deadpool:Merc with a mouth.

Interesting. I didn't know the Marvel Zombies continued. I thought it was just a mini saga like Maximum Carnage. Sounds like I haven't read them all. Maybe I need to catch up on that. I just finished getting all the comics for the Planet Hulk saga. I just need to find out the correct sequence to read them in now. :P

I wanted to collect the planet hulk and world war hulk series, but the cheapest I found it was 50 dollars for all the mini series, ect.

I started collecting back when comics had just had their price raised to 20 cents. Lost my enthusiasm when I had almost my entire collection stolen in 1988. Almost entirely Marvel. The Hulk and X-Men were probably my favorites although I really liked Ghostrider too. I had Wolverine's first appearance in The Hulk, the entire Dark Phoenix saga... ...plus my guilty pleasure, Howard the Duck.
What I had in '85 was appraised at $20K, I just wish I had insured it.

i'm glad the original poster finally got some company! apparently the passion for comic books have not completely died

is the death or dying of comic books a good thing for comic book collectors?

i'm thinking when it all ends, 20-30 years later, they may have some old comics that are worth a lot of money

What would make comic books more popular again is if the price was under 2 dollars, when I started to collect them. Good old days too, when marvel and dc came up with great ideas like the death of superman and age of apocalypse from marvel

Comic books? Wow, this makes me realize how old I really am. Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought comic books were an extinct species.

the death of superman was pretty cool. there was 3 books right? i didn't like when they tried to "re-invent" superman though. they kind of changed his powers, i think they got rid of his cape and his outfit turned white. i remember it not going well with the fans and they changed him back. i don't know how he changed back, but i remember lex luther is the one that saved his life and gave him the new suit because he turned into like, pure energy or something and the suit was the only thing that can contain him
