how many complete comic book saga series do you own?

At the time of death of superman, that is where they made their big bucks at.What made it more refreshing is someone like doomsday who could actually kill superman and the only one in the dc universe who can once more.I remember one person that is a employee at a comic book store, telling me Thor is 1 dimensional,I wasn't going to be a prick about it and tell him Superman,The Flash,Green Lantern,Batman, plastic man, hawkman, ect were all 1 dimensional, because I like batman, hawkman, and the flash(Wally West),and Shazam or known as Captain Marvel.Other then that,I haven't picked up a DC comic since 1997 and didn't start reading Marvel again in 2008.I will agree with you though SumoNinja about the death of superman and the re-invent superman, where it started out amazing, then it totally flopped, which was no huge surprise anyways.

I was never down with the DC. Except the new Batman comics they've been makin', especially the Arkham graphic novels, are the ****. Besides that I was never into DC and always down with Marvel. Superman= Meh'.

I only like certain Spider-man comics, other then that,I think what made spider-man even popular are the villians he had to face, like kraven the hunter, demogoblin, hobgoblin, green goblin, rhino, venom, ect.I have the arkham asylum video game from batman and that is it,never really read the graphic novels, also I did enjoy Marvel vs DC comic book series.

I liked the old Savage Sword of Conan comics. They were made a little bigger than normal comic books and they were in black and white, only the cover was in full color.

I have read a couple of old Conan comics, those were pretty good, but I don't like what they are trying to do making a movie, from the comic book series it seems.

Yeah, Demogoblin was pretty sweet. purifying the sinners with fire. :) The arkham asylum game is what made me look into the graphic novel. The game was amazing. Novel, also pretty cool. Very dark and morbid. Never touched Marvel vs DC because Marvel>DC. :P

Well what made me catch the Marvel vs DC attention was the battle of Thor vs Captain Marvel,of course The Mighty Thor won the battle clearly, also Storm vs Wonder woman was good too, cause Storm whooped her azz like nothing, but the one battle that made say,why did superman even win based on fan votes against the hulk? That was the most stupidest thing I have ever heard, also what made me more furious is that they used the weaker version of hulk, where he has the mind of Bruce Banner and when he gets angry,he doesn't get stronger,he just turns back into Banner :/.If they would of put the Savage Hulk into that battle,Superman would of been destroyed in 2 minutes. If you think about it,Gladiator is some what like Superman, except based on confidence for his powers and the hulk beat gladiator like nothing. So clearly Hulk should of won that battle. It was brought to my attention about fights in both universe, that Lobo actually beat Superman before,,then you have lame superman beating the hulk? That doesn't make sense, due to Lobo is no where near as powerful as superman. I can only imagine DemoGoblin and Ghost Rider teaming up,if only that sort of team was ever formed, but I don't believe they use DemoGoblin anymore, once again Marvel not pushing their potential bad azz characters, they rather push someone like Mary Jane being a superhero or what kills me the most is,they kill off the good characters like Warpath's brother John Proudstar AKA Thunderbird.

My stash of comics, going to be buying a cabinet soon to put all my comics in.

I wish I had gotten more into them. I always liked them, but never got too involved. I do have The Death and Life of Superman book and love the Venom Saga, especially Carnage, but I don't actually have it. Only comics I have left are Batman 500, Green Goblin vs. Hobgoblin and my mind is slipping me, but another Spider-Man. I don't know what I'm talking about, lol. (and a Red Ryder one from about 18 years ago, lol that I got w/ my BB gun that I still have. I lost the little series I had from Drake's Cakes somehow.

overly powerful characters kinda makes me lose interest in comic books

i love all the powers and what not (magneto, apocolypse, phoenix,...) but when you get into powers that can potentially warp reality on a cosmic scale by simply thinking about it, that's all just a bit too much for me

edit: look up Franklin Richards
