How many people name there fish

Most of my fish don't have names with the past exceptions of the monster one's like Brutus, Godzilla or Thug or a pair of giraffe cats called the Hoover Twins. Currently the only two I have with given names are my mated pair of albino Senegal Bichir's, Darwin & Tampon....

We named a few of em. Usually just names that describe how they look or act.

BP named chubs
Betta named julio- the ladies man
Another named the Dude-from the big lebowski, hes an oddly peaceful betta

Have a molly named mustachio- has a black mustache

And our auratus is named jerkface.

Most of these were named by the misses, but she stopped after some of her favorites died. Boy did she cry.

I name the special ones.. used to name all of them, but when you sell them it seems to suck a bit more when you give them names... haha!

We had a RTC named Hoover.. he was pretty sweet!
& a 1 footer Tiger Shovelnose named Wilson

Me and the BF have taken to naming the big fish we get...
12'' Silver Arowana - MJ
6'' Silver Arowana - MJ Jr.
11'' Senegal Bichir - Sen
6'' Albino Senegal - Whitie
6'' Ornante Bichir - Nate
5'' Senegal Bichir - PenPal (Sold as a P. Palmas....)
4'' Delhizi (sp?) Bichir - Spot
1.5'' Delhizi (sp?) Bichir - WeeMan
2-7'' TSN- Thing 1 & Thing 2


And then one Angelfish (out of 4) is Lola (She's a marbled that's about 7'' top to bottom fin).

The other smaller fish are not named...At all....

Ha we only normally do it for the big ones or ones with a big personality,such as arry the aro lol
The IT is fatnoid
The big endli is called rooney lol because hes a beast!
The smaller endli is called the gfs for go faster stripe because of his markings.
The tig is called Tiggy
The clown loach is called clowny
The gar is garfield
The tinfoils are called tinnys or dustbins and the new small ornate is nigel and the new small endli is boris

My family usually ends up naming them... I don't

Only one I ever named was my Tiger Shovelnose... named him Albert (not to sure why... just felt that it fitted well)

We have hundred's of fish. I can only think of a handfull of them that have names by me. My 24" albino channel just got named alphabit soup.I kinda like it, so I guess that's his name.

Schooling fish no names. Here are my fish names.

Keyhole cichlid - Carl
ebjd- mr sparkels
green severum - Nip
BN pleco- bristle
clown pleco- hermet
red severum - mr pink
heros notatus- spot
blue acara- Marge

Sometimes the names just come to me other times they don't so they don't get a name.
