zander's response was excellent. Other than that most of the crap in this thread is basically reflecting the fall in quality posts that I have seen mfk taking over these past few months that I have been away. Its. just. sad.
i totally agree that the quality of threads is on a major decline. i really think that some people just post for the sake of posting. some of them make no sense, at all.

I doubt this is an April fools joke, he posted this on his first day on the forum, and I don't know about him, but I know I wouldn't be comfortable trying to trick a bunch of people I don't even know when I've only been on the site for less than a day. JMO, but I could be wrong.

Anyway, to the OP, if this is a serious post, then you are going to need at least a 400-500 gallon tank for those fish and a rediculous amount if filtration, and if you want more pacu then you are going to need at least a ~1000g tank. Either that or you will just have to sell/give away most of your fish.

You are in the hobby in an exciting time, the JDM tank. Now you can even add more fish to your already robust stocklist. You will develop an instant following. Congrats on taking your tank to the "next level". You may even want to look into a chiller for your tank, nothing like "evoluting" a group of fish before your very eyes.

Be sure to keep us posted with "DSLR photos of the stunners in their crispy water"

talk about overstock when i first started i had a 10 gallon with a buttikoferi, channel catfish, oscar, green terror, blood jewel cichlid, kribenesis, pleco, black shark and like 3 africans and they all survived for like 5 months until I got my bigger tanks. The silver arowana may go in a different tank i have another 125 gallon waiting to be re-setup
If you don't believe us, just wait about 4-5 months then check your water parameters... if you don't believe us after that then you must be :screwy:.

I hope your not talking about my posts, since I was actually trying to make valid points.

I also think the OP might have just started the thread as a joke or to cause trouble. If he had searched the forum for 5 minutes he would have found answers to most of his questions.

I will not believe this is nothing more than an April fools thread until I see a pic of this tank to verify.

strange that there is no pics..which to me, verifies that it is indeed an April Fool's Prank.

until then, its just a joke thread that suckered people in :)
OMG i never noticed it was april fools when it was posted (becuase i looked at it the next day) lol your right i think it's an april fool's prank
