I currently only have a 40G critter tank with my yellow bellied slider (Curtis who I came to realize is female...). If my boyfriend has his way tho, I will end up with a terarium, & a 29G saltwater as well...

I have a 29g, and soon, a 55g in my room.


There really isn't any smell to the tanks, unless you open the lids, and take a big wiff.
It's an earthy kind of smell that I actually rather like.
