Yes and there have been rumors of both species being bred on a limited basis but I have not seen anything to support them.

Nice dats. Is there any general guideline for which types of bars for IT are worth what price for different sizes?
Well,I have always been partial to those dats that have the same pattern on both sides of the body,particularly any kinds of split/ forked bars or the the three bars.Those tend to cost more money but fortunately for me I have been able to find them relatively cheaply over the years.
