If my area had anything like deals this good I'd have a field day. Everyone around here thinks tanks are investment opportunities with great ROI. The number of crusty 55-75s with beat up particle board tv stands for 200+ is stupid. God help you if it's 6ft.
Im envisioning somebody hoarding old crusty tanks in a warehouse so they can corner the used tank market lol

For the tank it self? I live in a great area. NJ is close. Everyone in NJ has fish i think. :).

180 reef tank. Tank only $180
125 reef tank with stand and lids (MFK sale) $350.
75 reef tank. Tank only $25
75 gallon tank with bulkheads. Tank only $20
Yeah I actually saw a tank in Jersey that I wanted but too much of a haul for me down to va. It was a 225 gal for like 500 with a bunch of equipment.

And now that you mention it I have seen a lot of koi ponds and the like in my travels through jersey.

it's expensive but not impossible to do :) you just need to save some money each month and gathering your equipment piece by piece when they are on sale.
Yeah I can understand that. For this particular tank though I've been really excited and have been in a hurry to put it together. I haven't had a tank for like 5 years and finally got a house to put one in this past april. No damn landlord to make me sell my tank this time haha!

1999 paid $800 for a brand new 180 manufactured from Allglass including stand made from pressed wood lol and glass lids and florescent light fixtures didn't have to pay taxes because I worked for the guy who ordered the aquarium. With subtrate , 2 wet/dry filters, protein skimmer and 2 Marbled Catsharks and dead coral pieces easily in the thousands. Converted it to freshwater and spent thousands on fish substrate etc.

- Surface skimmer $30
- HoB Filter $50 AC70
- 700gph powerhead circulation $30

- Heater not in use yet 200w $30 (winter use only)
- On going $10 per week water change (store bought saltwater)
- 5x babies clown triggers (nickle coin size) for $100 (7 months ago), recently sold other 4 triggers and kept only the best looking one, 4 for $200 minus the cost and supplied in 7 months I can say I got my money back for the fish cost.

I guess I am the hoarder just not planning on selling them. However we do have a corner of our shop stacked with tanks any where from 20's to 180's. Just waiting to setup our fish house. We already have 160 setup in our house but really need a big shop for our plan to come together.
