how much do you guys TIP your waiter?

I'm a little bothered by the fact that they get to control the amount that the waitress gets for a tip.Totally,well almost,takes the paying customer out of the equation.
 
Im with you. Something similar happened to me at a bday party a couple months ago. It's not like they added more help to the table, but more people at our table without more help, sent our service from bearable to crappy quick. Then comes the tip you have to pay. Yay :/
 
If the service is there, I do not hold the food quality against the servers tip.if the server is engaging but knows when to go the hell away. Does a good job.I will tip 30%.

ehh, I've fallen into gray areas more than once and have tipped accordingly.
 
Also I know if it's a really nice restaurant. Chances are there's a chef in the back that's a perfectionist pr!@£ like me in the kitchen...and I know I'm not always the easiest to deal with at work.

Haha.a seizure no....swift and blinding violence maybe.haha no everyone has different tastes.you like what you like.i just expect my end of things and the servers end of things to be perfect.if someone feels they would enjoy a meal more with something added, so be it.we have ketchup at my restaurant. Goes with our 100$ burger.no kidding.

The burger itself is a ground brisket , chuck, and steak blend.a really nice swiss, sliced Italian truffles, 2oz.seared foie gras, on a house made onion brioche roll.served with white truffle parm.herb fries. And a split of champagne.
