WTH??!?! me and a guy from work moved my 125...it was HARD. I even got new stretch marks on my shoulders from it.

You must be a freakin beast
hahah it's not that bad. there's gotta be more people here that have done it. i actually got the 240 off the truck and onto some floor dollies by myself. almost died, but i managed

I had 4 people move a 300+ pound Aqueon 150g (who were used to moving tanks from the LFS) and even they were complaining LOL.

I would bring 6 people.

overkill? hard to say.

there is a thread over in the lessons learned section where a glass 450g tank was dropped with 4 strong people moving it.:(

now, they didn't drop it because they were not strong enough, but accidents happen and once a big glass tank starts to slip, its difficult to stop it. the more people present at that instance in time, the better IMO.

if you have extra people, thats better than struggling with not enough..

a 210 weighs roughly 350lbs. myself (girl) and my boyfriend moved it out of the back of a ford excursion with a pair of suction cups. got them from harbor freight. 2 guys can do a 300 easy.
you nancy-pants men just got pwned by a girl :headbang2

2 guys can do a 300 easy.

I respectfully disagree with this one :)

take a look at the Marineland 300g next time at the LFS. its 6 feet long, 3 feet wide, 27" tall. probably weighs 500 pounds.

I have a hard time believing even two strong people could safely move that.

its too heavy and way too akward for just two do to it properly IMO.

There is a huge difference in a 210 and a 300 I guess the glass is thicker because Me and my brother carried my 210 into my house and down the steps without too much of a struggle while The 300 you can barely budge with 2 guys. Just have 6 guys always better to have an extra set of hands

Yea same here, my 150 is said to weigh just over 350lbs and it was a pain in the ass moving it to the backyard from the truck even though it was only my dad and I but were both big guys, both 6'1 and im 185lbs my dad is 265 (body builder), it wasn't easy.
