one word of caution about those heavy duty glass suction cups mentioned earlier:

be very careful when using them. if one were to let go, you may not only end up with a broken tank, but a broken foot as well a 300+ pound tank crashing down on a human foot will cause some serious damage..

As to the op 4 strong people for a 300 gallon any more they get in the way, that's how I moved mine. As per the other posters on this thread, I have never needed more than two people for all glass 240's to a 125. I can move a 125 myself from the tailgate to the stand and slide into position. You need to be resourceful when moving a lot of weight and think it through instead of brute force. If you get worn out moving a large tank you're doing it wrong... (or weak)

as most people have stated 4 people is good. and be resourcesful, Glass is good to move around, acrylic not so, easily scratch! Good luck on the buy.

I mean like, if you fill the tank with water it will weigh like 3000 pounds. Are you worried about the floor supporting that weight? I have no idea, Im just asking.
