hey everyone

Due to the crap economy, I might take down 1 of my 2 tanks so I can save my parents some money.

I was wondering if anyone can give me an estimate as to how much it costs to run a 75 gallon tank with one XP3, 250 watt stealth heater, and 4 hours of lighting a day per month.

I live in SoCal by the way.

Thanks

Ya what is it with kids man, get a job or help out people in your neighbor hood and earn some money. Find someones grass to cut for around 20bucks a week. That will pay for your tanks.------Of course this is asuming you are atleast 10yrs old. If your younger than that wash some cars or something.

lol either way the kid has his parents wallets at heart. Its hard to knock that nowadays where you see kids that are gothic and hate life. Meanwhile they are literally the epitome of spoiled

Props to you lil man

I love kids man. Really i do. Its just that today there are alot of kids that are lazy. When they want something from a store, there first thought is about mommy and daddy buying it for them. And thats fine for a young child. But there comes a time when you need to realize what life is all about and start learning lifes lessons. The first one adults learn is if you want you work, simple as that. I see adults at my job everyday that are freaked out by this simple concept.---For all I know this kid has a job and try's really hard. But the average kid now a days goes to school and plays video games and plays on the net. While there parents are at work and then they expect there parents to buy them stuff for it.

And i would be willing to bet the only reason this kid is on here talking about this is because his parents got on him about the tanks. And instead of doing some research to make his decision he took the easy way out and asks the board.

Be resourceful, get a job and limit your lighting schedule to viewing pleasures.
