ABSOLUTLY!!!
no tempered glass...

Thought so, I have a couple older tanks with unknown manufactures and no
label that I would love to drill. But don't know if tempered or not.

Haha don't worry I've already contacted you for a price. Just need to get everything figured out before I order.

Go to www.WorldReefers.com and look in their "Resources and Info" Forum, and then to "tempered panels" threads, they have listings on what panels are, and might be tempered...

;) just checking...

I wanted to go back to my first question about how much flow should I have. I have been doing a lot of research on overflows and I think I am going to try to push 1800gph or more if I can. My main concern is the discus though, will the return be too turbulent for them? I am planning on have 2 return pipes facing the sides of the tanks.

so just aim for 1200 GPH thats good turn over... i kept 4 rays at that before...

Go ahead and buy me a reeflo too. You can just ship it to me. We'll call it a late Christmas present. LOL

i'd try to get somewhere like 5 turnovers per hour, good luck.

Would doing 8-10 just be too much? I was thinking about trying to push that much if possible and point the returns to the side walls.

The more turnover you have, the better. From the recommendations I've gotten before, the rays don't seem to mind good flow- they tend to hang out in the areas with the most turbulence. I would say that as long as they have a nice, calm place to rest that it would be hard to overturn their water.
