How much would MFK pay? (35gal planted)

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
So no stand?

Iwould ask what kind of light system and how advanced is this Co2 system is. Just some cheap 10 dollar project they did while on a commercial break or something actually nice. Some lights are worth quite a bit.

if it's just a cheap Co2 system and flourescents I'd pay 50 tops. W/stand 60. If it's advanced then 100 at the very most.

400 for this tank, and another one.

Light is some 24 hour system, dont really know...No info was really put up. 92watts i believe.

c02 system is just a reactor.

stands included for both tanks

Other tank gallonage?

Unless this other tank is a 125 with full equipment and stand I'd pass. 400 bucks for a 35 gallon with some plants...pffft. Unless there's some zebra plecos hiding in there I wouldn't pay that. Think what 400 bucks can buy actually. I see that your from Canada so IDK the normal Craigslist tank for sale price is. I could easily buy a 180 w/stand some cheaper equipment for $400. Or better.

I don't know much about Co2 chambers and all that jazz. I'd still pass personally. This Simon sounds like the kind of person who would be selling a 55 gallon for 200 bucks or a 125 for 300 bucks because he bought it for $500

as for the actual cost, The only tank i've got was a 55 once for 100, from someone and the reason they sold it at that price was because it came with 3 turtles they couldn't rehome.

10g tanks are often listed for 150 if not more.

PM if you want to know my postal code so you can search kijiji yourself.

They have Craigslist up there? Do people actually sell those tanks, that's crazy. An empty 55 is worth 60-70 bucks at the very very very most. A 10 is worth $10 if your lucky. I though the U.S. was damn crazy with prices, but I guess not. It's just like selling a car. You put 10k into it it's not worth 10k you would be lucky to get more than half if your selling it. Crazy.

I'd buy the plants, and the harliquins. They are one of my all time favourite species. I'd leave the tank.
