Why did you start this thread if you are so certain that your tank is not overstocked and everything is fine and will continue to be fine? If you don't want to here peoples opinions or even consider what is said then why ask?

I mean i was taking it all on board if you read my posts back but you persist to act like im not listening to you...that or you dont actually read what i write.
I'm obviously Listening since I have removed 3 Fish since I started the topic, and i said 'I will see how it goes' with the Geophagus.
I think my Blue Acara is actually getting prettier than my Geo as he gets bigger, the Geo seems to get duller as he gets older....not such bright blues/Reds...hes one of those 'Bahia Red' types.
The reason why I ended up with 3 Severum was because I couldnt find a red spotted anywhere so i got the Rotkeil....however i have since found one and now I'm to attached to remove one.
I think they I will probably get a pairt out of these so one will have to go eventually.
Lukily my mate has a unstocked tank which is exactly the sam as mine,we got it from the same shop...so I can always rehome stuff to him.
I'm pretty certain I have a pair in my Acaras as they display to eachother constantly so that may be a issue.
If My Sevs and Acaras breed and I end up having to make the tank for them solely...would that be ok?

There are all kinds of things I've done with my tanks that I know people on this forum would freak out on if they saw it here. For example, I've kept an eight inch polleni in a 55 with a one inch mayan and a two inch festae for about three months now. None of these fish are anywhere close to dead, the polleni looks great as do the little guys, who are growing out and have established their own little territories. If I posted that scenario here and asked people what they thought they'd insist the little fish would be dead by morning. No, not so much! Most in this hobby go by assumption, not experience. When it comes to breeding I'm still clueless, but when it comes to handling aggression I'm pretty confident I know what to do. Just watch and learn, let the fish teach you. That's my best advice.
