sorry about your hamster.
I have a problem with death too =[ I ve never had anyone really close to me die yet so I have never experienced that but I am pretty sure its going to be very very upsetting when it happens.
I am horrible when animals die - but I am glad that I am able to provide them a good home. I am getting better with my fish. I just work really hard to get certian fisha nd some I have had for over 3 years so its really hard when they go. I lost all but 2 of my kigoma frontosa colony which upset me a lot as I had worked really hard to afford them and raise them - I am hopefully going to get more soon. If I lose a fish I am not as attached to or dont have them that long then it doesnt really bother me so much. I have lost a dog before but I was very young. I am sure if I lost one of my dog or cat or bearded dragon now I would be very upset. I had a hamster when I was in middle school and she lived for a few years I was upset when she died too. I guess its because I love all of my animals so much it makes it hard. At the same time it makes me smile that I gave them a good home to live in while they were here.
