This is my worst nightmare as well. considering i live directly above the property managers office. that would be a hard one to explain, why it was raining in her office lol.
Of course that is part of the reason that my biggest tank is 75 gal. it would still be a nightmare but would be much easier to deal with than a couple hundred gal, which i personally would only put in a basemen as was stated earlier lol.
so does anyone know where i can get the plastic boarders made at. apparently 8' isnt a standard size.
Sorry been so long with no up date I work for a hotel/resort and holidays get crazy. after contacting many different places I am going to have to make my own tank frames. I'm thinking about welling some L shaped metal to size and having it powder coated to stop rust (buddy works for an auto body repair shop). I am also almost caught up on being able to save for the new glass after Christmas so talked to my guy today about getting me some prices will let you all know how that is going. As of right now the basement is back to normal, all the broken glass has been removed ( top braces broke while trying to remove) and in the next week will have all the old silicone removed from the new opening.

the glass is 1/2" which is about 12.7mm
