How to feed Earthworms?

Just rinse the excess dirt off of the worms.

Instead of buying earthworms, I culture red wiggler (AKA composting) worms in a rubbermaid in my garage. It's super easy, the worms are great for fish of all sizes and I haven't bought live or frozen food in years.

D dogofwar is your garage heated? Asking I might try culturing red wrigglers in my garage, but my garage is insulated not heated in winter.:)

My friend owns a fairly sizable commercial worm farm(they raise them mostly for castings) but they are bringing in a African Nightcrawler, they look huge

If you do try it https://unclejimswormfarm.com usually has good deals. When I got mine the doubled the order for $5 extra, as for a bin a Rubbermaid works but if you get stackable plant trays with holes in the bottom you can have layers just like the expensive ones you see

Yup I use uncle jims too. Found their customer service good especially when replacing dead worms due shipping in the winter. I feed my wolf fish european nightcrawlers and my ropefish and gt red wigglers.

Make sure you remove any they do not eat I just had a crash cus I missed some that died in the tank.

aren't worms 80% water? I am surprised your tank crashed because a few worms got away. You must have had other issues in the tank perhaps?
