How to get a six pack without getting stunted?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Im a personal trainer and a competitive bodybuilder and will tell you straight up that abbs are made in the kitchen, not in the gym.

We all have abb's but most simply never see them due to a unhealthy diet and lack of exercise.

To build a stronger more shredded set of abbs you need to work them like any other muscle, with weights but at your age i wouldn't recommend it.

Clean up your diet, up your protein intake, reduce carbs and unhealthy fats and do more cardio (jogging, cycling, etc) but don't go crazy, its best to make gradual changes.

In order to isolate and tone up your abbs do abb crunches, don't waste time and energy doing the old fashion sit ups,(all the way up to your knees then back down to the ground) they work your hip flexors and to a slight extent, your lower abdominals. Learn to do crunches.

One of the most important things to remember and something i bring up with my clients is "why they want to train" or "why they want to lose weight or gain muscle"? for those that simply want to lose weight and/or gain muscle to impress a girl or to look good in summer or on a beach i simply turn them down as with these people its simply a waste of time. Once they reach their goal, show off and summer ends they revert back to their unhealthy lifestyle.... at least until next summer when they do it all again:screwy:

Being healthy and getting in to shape needs to be seen as a lifestyle, not a temporary opportunity to impress people, do it for yourself.

Just my 2 c.

finally an educated answer....as a side note (not related to OP) I find really funny watching fat people doing crunches at the gym thinking that their belly is going to go away as a result...

Your life isn't over believe me. I know this seems unlikely but you will move on.

Well now she said shell give me a chance UGHHH she told me last night everything I want her to know and know she said shell give me a chance..... Idk WHTF to do

Whatever happends its not the end of the world, life dose go on and the pain and frustration you feel will pass beleive me.

My last gf and i recently split for good, we had out good times and bad but what i remember most is all the arguments and fights. we had a long talk, i didnt want kids and she did, she was more focused on work and career where as i see work as just a means to an end etc etc i really loved her and thought she was the one..... i really did but it just wasnt meant to be and so i moved on. Thats life, you move on.

keep your chin up-

thanks for the help but it dont matter no more....

Did you even read what darren said? how you going to say it don't matter no more when he just told you straight up that you're doing it for the wrong reason?

Dude. Its a girl.
If it does work out...Yay. If not, boo, but you'll live your life and go on without her.

And quite honestly...If she wants to 'give you a chance' it sounds like she isn't that interested in you :/
