ive never had or even seen or heard of a hand fed p, they are to skittish

I raised a baby rhom by hand feeding.

Needless to say, it bites pretty hard at less than 3".

tell abuddy you do it all the time then see what it does to him. that way you dont look like the dumby standing there with your hand in the tank for an hour

i can hand feed my RBP, i can hold a fish fillet in th etop of the water and they come up and pull it out of my hand.... but only if they are really hungry..LOL

be carefull when they get bigger they can take a nice size chunk out of you!!

I know I have seen one do this to my father!!!!!!

I've got 5 RPB 2 Caribe and a Tern and they will now, finally, take fish fillets from me. I hold it half in and half out of the water and they swarm to get it. I haven't been brave enough to hold on and let them eat it while I hold it but they will take it from me everytime now.
