I have a large tank, 350gal or so (not exact) and I want to add new fish to it, the problem is, there's a jag cichlid in there. How would I add more fish to the tank?

Also, are adding more cichlids possible? I'm considering a carpintis/texas hybrid.

What you can do is, bucket the jag, then completely change the tanks decorations, it has to be completely different, any remnants of the old tank will be a point for the Jag to reclaim the tank. Put new fish in for a bit, let them settle a little. Then put in the Jag.

Not saying this will work, but probably your best chance

The tank is bare, will bucketing the jag and adding decorations work?
So ATM it's bare? If so then yes some hides the new guys can get away to , then like a nice big hide the Jag can claim on the other side of the tank.
Give the new ones a fair amount of time 30min or so to claim a place

How big is the size difference? That will play a big role. Also the fish you mentioned and the jag can breed so be aware of that.
