how to reduce agression with bichirs?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
You can get 1 now and if it doesn't work get another one.

If you change 10 us gallons a day on that tank, I see no reason to not be able to keep 5 upper jaws (minus ornate and teug). I see your tank roughly holds 65 US gallons of water. I've done this on a 55 USg, and changing that much water a day keeps the nitrates below 10ppm.
a waterchange a day? your crazy im not gone do that i got school sadly.
would rather keep low stocking and have less cleaning to do. I got around 10 tanks so its already a drag to do them all every week.

thanks for the advice will maybe try to add one.

10 gallons a day with a hose is less than 10 minutes from draining to fill up. I've timed it.

It's time for you to reduce the amount of tank nows rather than later if it's a chore already.

well i already reduced from almost 20 to 10
No way im gone keep any less, i still 'need' more. Really miss my frogs and pufferfish.
But every day and once a week or twice is quite a big difference. respect if you can do it. I find watering the plants everyday and doing washes and making food tiring already.

Agression has seriously decreased for some weird reason. Im probably not gone add another one but we will see. thanks for the help

Does it matter what bichir i add? The palma is bullying the senegal again. Shall i get another senegal? or the palma?

Have you tried sedatives?

sedatives for fishes? i drug myself but im not sure if i would ever wane drug my fishes. :popcorn:what are you talking about exactly?
Trolling for a laugh. I would never try adding sedatives to an aquarium. I should have added a laughing emoji to my post.
