HUGE knifefish caught in FL canal!!!

Thailand has some amazing fish and reptiles to.
 
theres a spring in central florida called blue springs, and the mouth of the boil is covered in plecos. just common plecos, but its cool to dive with them. i'm talking like 40-50 all in one spot, big guys too. i caught 3 oscars in a lake by my house that are now in my fish tank :)

The Oscars I myself have caught have all had that true wild for generation Oscar look aka close to no red mostly brown.


Are yours the same look? I ask because might be just the area I fish but think as generations go they look less and less like pet store types.

Arent you afraid of gators when you dive?
 
Louie the fight on the barracuda left me speachless!!! I never had such a great fight-but keep in mind it was on a small freshwater rod/reel combo...also the pbass put up a good fight as well! Is it May yet? lol
