I think Cons are one of the worst looking Cichlids. But fun to watch.

really? uglier than Blood parrots, flowerhorns, and blotchy RD/Midases?

You've must've never seen a nice one, with very distinct dark bars, and a deep blue body. different colors reflecting off their fins...

I guess everybody's got their own oppinions.

personally i think cons are one of the most under-rated cichlids out there , its just not many people give them a chance .

These aren't ugly fish. the pics may be, but the fish aren't.

Sweet pink con I got one just like it ! iwant to get it to pair off with a normal long fined female i have think the young would look cool.

the young do indeed look cool , unfortunatly there too small and fast to get a decent pic of , but there a mix of all pink and some are pink with normal black markings some are pink with half black markings and some are standard , as soon as they get some size i will post up pics

Yeah in my opinion cons are prettier than FH's BP's (inbred mongrels...) those things are truly ugly as hell and i will never keep one.
