never tried it, but my friend says its good. he gets them at chinatown in bay area. huge red eared sliders for like $10. when you buy it, they kill and gut it for you!! prob taste like chicken

I love hunting !!!:headbang2 But you'll never see me kill something i won't eat.. I go deer or elk hunting and eat off that all year long. Nothing like killing and butchering an animal and throwing it in the freezer and never have to go to the store for meat..:D

i thought that was a 1930's thing lol...... i really do not see the point in killing turtles

We've got snappers everywhere around here. They're one of the most common species of turtles in the Eastern US. Some people eat them, but not many. I hear they taste good too. I'd eat one!

The poll is pretty biased with how you worded it. But anyway...
Yes, I enjoy hunting and I eat everything I get.

People that hunt primarily for trophies bother me, it seems pretty disrespectful towards life in general to kill something for the purpose of hanging it on a wall.

Word.. The only kind of hunting I really disagree with.. Elephants, giraffe's, other large exotic animals.. People who want big cats in their collection or just to say they did it..

Now fishing I love.. I'll take the Ron White approach to hunting/fishing I guess..

I have hunted in the past (deer) in Michigan.Since humans ''civilized'' the country and removed natural predators there is no control in place to maintain a healthy in this case deer population (and no they are not self limiting in production) if you have had a few mild winters deers will overpopulate an area then a severe winter comes along and you have a bunch of starving deer.In my opinion its better to die fast than a slow lingering death by starvation and it associated problems-Anne

BTW your poll is kind of one sided

i agree with hunting as long as ur not just killing for no reason, if u plan to eat and use the animal im all for it, as i have learned in my studys at school, a high % of animals die a horable death either of starvation or being killed and eaten by other animals, so shooting them is def a better way to die if u ask me, but all animals should be protect and have rules on how many u can kill. im not for killing for fun and not useing the animal
