he is not deformed. all the ones that sizes n a lil bigger looked like that(mine) but i think they grow out of that. they straighten out i'm sure.

maybe its just the photo but that fish appears to have considerable contortion to the spine - they should be straight !!! it won't grow out !

personally i would get another.

It's cool that you got him eating! Good luck on growing him out! Make this thread great by posting weekly pics so that we can all watch him grow into a monster like mine over the next couple of years. I've seen someone doing a thread like that for a RTC, now we need one for a hybrid! cudos on getting him to eat! They digest bloodworms quick at that size and you could go with feeding him several times per day. You'll want to taper off the feedings as he grows though.

necro your hybrid is sweet looking. I really love the look of both the rtc(especially when small) and the tsn(when large). I ordered one of these guys from my local lfs this week because I need a big cat.
