necro your hybrid is sweet looking. I really love the look of both the rtc(especially when small) and the tsn(when large). I ordered one of these guys from my local lfs this week because I need a big cat.

thanks, and since you plan on getting a big kitty let us know if you need help with plans on a pond or tank. Not sure what your financial situation is, but a large indoor pond can be built relatively cheap in comparison to buying a tank for housing one of these for life. Mine is in a 350 gal 6' dia trough, but he's too big for it imo. I mean he's comfortable, but a fish that size needs some space. That's why the 4000 gal is under construction for this and my other fish. :naughty:

Thanks necro...in the future(next year or less)...I'll probably need help settin up a pond for him. I just picked him up today and he ended up being closer to 6" rather than 4". So I put him in my 120 gallon. I'll put some pics up when he gets used to the tank in the next couple days....and damn does he have a big mouth.

why did they move this post from tha cat fish to tha photo lounge dus anyone know why they moved it

Just curious what other people are feeding their rtc/snc hybrids. I have had a six inch for about a month and currently feeding it twice a day including pieces of mahi mahi, squid, crab meat, bloodworms, and algae wafers (I sell food to restaurants so I ask them for their raw fish scrapes etc) THis is my favorite fish in the tank. He is currently housed in a 100 gallon tank w/ an 8" Oscar, 6" frontosa, 2 x 4" silver dollers, 2 x 6" lace cats, and 2 x 10" common plecos. I will be upsizing tank when the time comes. Should I be feeding it anything else besides the current spread. Any advice would be appreciated.
