this thread is one of the best ones I've seen in a while i'd love to see some bagarius or brachyplatystoma crosses as of now i'm not aware of any specimens out there hopefully you might know of any out there :)

There are hybrids of bagarius, but all inner genus as far as I am aware. I have been barely in the game over the last 3 years with just minimal study so who knows what has happened since then. I need to get back into this big so that I can research it more. As for brachyplatystoma crosses I am not aware of any at this point. Very little is known about the reproduction of brachyplatystoma, and this may have something to do with that.

Discussion in here seems to have died off :(. let's see and hear about some of the smaller catfish hybrids. Synos, corys, ect. Love all catfish so any are welcome!!!

RTC x Pangasius sp.

Pretty neat looking huh? Only picture I ever found of one. There's also TSN x Pangs as well. Seems as if the Pangasius species is the dominant ones when making those type of hybrids as more features lean towards it. I will have to dig up my pics of the TSN x pangasius as well.

I thought the first two pics are of that too? Different age?

To each its own. The looks of this one make me shudder (if we are talking easthetics alone). Baloon goldfish comes to mind.

it is deffinately an interesting looking fish..... it seems as if an rtc or a tsn can be crossed with just about anything I wonder what's next lol

Top one is paroon x rtc, bottom is pangasius sp. x rtc. There's pics of the top one as a baby somewhere on MFK!!!! Time to go searching!!!! lol
