when to H Mart and saw some saltwater parrots, tinfoil barbs, tiretrack eels, dragon gobies, gourmis, snakehead, and some walking cats.

Now I'm going to have to actually look around next time im in the asian market just to see what there is. lol Honestly, fish are pets and they are food. It doesn't bother me.

Hmm I am looking at my dragon goby in his tank and I am thinking that even if he wasn't my pet....he does not look very tasty. I would not be inclined to eat him

i once ate queen triggerfish. and blue angelfish. and cuban hogfish and lookdown jacks... all high end SW aquarium fish.

There's no problem eating fish, I'm sure almost everyone here eats salmon, why discriminate by species? A fish is a fish, meat is meat. Some people prefer knifefish to salmon I guess. To each their own. Don't knock someone elses delicasies.

Also, if I were to try any "exotic" fish, I'd definitely try Snakehead, they're also an asian delicasy. I wouldn't mind trying gar either. I had a pet duck once, we decided that when it was old enough we'd have him for thanksgiving dinner. I mean I know a lot of people would never do such a thing, but there still are people out there who hunt for a living, they just so happen to eat the fish we keep as pets. :p

Thats absolutely horable I'm a big knife fish fan and have owned them since about 6 years ago. This is unexceptable. It might be ok in Asian culture but NOT ours.

There is a lot of ignorant stuff posted on this site, this however takes the cake. Please explain "our culture"? Our culture doesn't eat fish? Your pet fish is somehow different from the fish at the grocery store? Perhaps if you meant the MFK sub-culture...

I hate to point this out, but almost every single species that grows over 6 inches, is food in it's native part of the world.
