yepesi and they probally told you total length including tail I have seen vendors do that just to mark the price up a little because of a bigger fish....
I orginally thought Nazca like Dave did, but possibly Yepezi or even Mantilla like someone else mentioned. Definitely not a Scobina. Look at the cb scobinas for sale on this site, not even similiar. Price for the cb's is close to $400 I think...
it is painfully obvious that these are not scobina..the dealer swore up and down they were scobina r-105..a very rare and seldom seen ray..and 3" larger than they actually are..(sold to me as 101/2" and actuallty 7")i was able to get a fairly clear photo of the other ray thats been less than photogenic..this one is somewhat simular to the other with alot less black strips/markings..a close view shows 1 row of spines down the center, not multiple as a real scobina should have..thanks for the help gentlemen..
I cannot believe a vender could do that knowing very well that it would cost too much to return these rays. I have heard too many complains from this guy. He sound real honest and sincere on the phone and then he would send you crap.
$400 for each that is obsolutely ridiculous. Those rays are ranked below motoro.
I think venders should post the exact picture of the ray/fish being shipped and no excuse for not having a camera or other BS reasons because I know you guys are making way too much money for not having a camera.
The honest thing for this vender to do is to return a full refund and make the customer happy. We all know who you are and we should boycott your business and I think this website should also take action against sellers pulling scam like this.
I spoke to the innocent victim and he is pretty pissed off.
