Not waiting for the two month mark, I'm excited about him starting to spangle up.

Ooops, you're right! Yesterday was his two month anniversary!!
I managed to sneak a picture from behind this time.
He is still super sociable too. Always comes to visit since the computer desk is next to the grow out tank. (And yes, the ornate and endli bichirs are doing well, they have grown a little, too!). Here's a glamour shot when he has all his colors turned on -- he will flash these colors before swimming up to the camera, which is why his fins and face are out of focus. I was worried the first few times he did this because it make me think my water parameters were off, but no, it seems to be his way of saying hi, and that he hopes food gets dropped in.
