Thanks everyone! I am learning so much from these creatures, and as they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. Today is Bloop's third month with me!! Picture time!

Yeah, sadly. I scoured the local area after finding him. There was a second at the store where I got him, but it had some tail/spine oddities, and after that one fellow I had that malingered for months, I didn't want to risk it. Know of any good upcoming deals for some little buddies for him in the 5-6" range?
I have to fess up that I have not been able to save for it. Just been over a year since I got the house that went along with the 300 gallon tank. Utilities, mortgage insurance, helping parents out with their bills, etc. occupies a lot more of my monthly budget than I had originally calculated, so my discretionary spending is almost nil. Plus side about getting that house is that now after a full year of owning it, I have a pretty big chunk of taxes that will be coming back to me soon, although I have already thought of about three different ways to spend that on non-luxuries. Maybe I'll start up an artwork commission thread to draw peoples' wet pets, and set that money aside SPECIFICALLY for new stock.
