I do NOT fool around with filtration

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I'm about to add quite a bit more to my 125. I already have 2 Eheim 2075s and 2 Hydor 425s on it, but I'm going to grab another Eheim Pro3, a TMC Vecton 25w UV, a TMC fluidized bed filter, and 2 more Hydor circulation pumps. I also plan on moving the bubble wall from the back to both sides. No HOBs, but I think it'll qualify for filtration craziness.

Lemme see if I can dig up a video...

Here we go. Check this out. This is actually in the toned-back configuration, too.

On another note: My fish were so little! :<

that is so like what I might do:)

I guess I'm not the only crazy one. On my standard 100g, I have (2) FX5's and (2) AC110's.

wow my often double the recomended filtration seems pitiful in comparison

lol ... thats where I start... then I add some mechanical help...

Lol! I think you're exaggerating with filtration you're only throwing your money to the trash can in paying big company light bills there is no need to have all those filters, I aquaclear 70 is enough for a 45 gallon tank unless you overstock but that's not your case.

I have this 85 gal tank with two filters running, one built in that has a flow rate of 186 gal per hour and also one of this:

filtro-interno-marca-sunny-modelo-spf-2000_MLM-O-31995745_7696.jpg

with a 530 gal x h flow rate.

These two systems sustain a 10.5 solo FH and they have sustained it since it was 4" about 2 years ago.

Nevertheless I'm about to get rid of these two and install one of this

Aqua Top CF400

370 GPH Flow rate.

This upgrading means less power consumption and better filtration.

I am actually only waiting for it to arrive.

My other tank is a 50 US gal with a aquaclear 70

and this custom made.

This two systems sustain a solo 5" flower horn and previously sustaied other flower horn that I kept for a year after selling him with out a single health issue at all.

I have never had an issue using Aquaclear. Aquaclear filters are really beast of eficiency filters, they are highly recommendable.

I mean not to disrespect you but IMO you're only tossing your money to the toilet your energy consumption should be fairly big and you don't really need al those systems running with that little stocking.
