I don't think having this in my tank is a good idea..

my nephew caught it and insisted in taking it home and i just couldnt say no. here it is what do you guys think?

i'm persuming your talking about the turtle?
it might not be to bad, is he chasing, our pestering any of the tankmates?
 
I'd say you should get him out. It wouldnt be so bad except they are really dirty (so watch for an ammonia spike) and they also need to get out of the water for at least 2 hours a day and bask in UVB. Your aquarium lights probably arent sufficient.

You could always do a little DIY project and make an above the water level basking area and raised canopy..could be cool
 
Looks like a common Musk turtle.
They need deep water, also need lots of hiding places and places to hold on. Your also going to need a basking area, with a UVB and UVA light.

And yes, it might eat your fish.
 
out of everything you guys said i need i only have hiding spots haha i think im gonna have to get it its own tank or give it away
 
If you caught it from an outside source, I would take it out.It could be caring any type of troublesome bacteria.
