i would but i was fishing an hour from where i live and going back just for that is out of the question. should i just release in any lake?

I understand why you don't wanna go back, but pet owners must be responsible. You took it from where it was, now you should put it back where you find it. You shouldn't have taken it if you weren't sure you were able to care for it.

i wasnt planning on it but my little nephew convinced me. ill try and house it the right way untill tomorrow ill release it into a lake where ive seen the same kind of turtles
