i dont know about where your from but i wouldnt keep the bayonet on it!!!
it is illegal to have it on there.
i bought a bayonet and i had to buy it as a "tent stake" from a gun show.lol

The SKS is pretty nice. This was the last gun that I bought. I bought it when I was in Texas for home defense, then I moved to NY. You cannot possess these in NY, FL, or CA. It just sits in my dad's safe in MI now.

i got one
fun to shoot but costly.
cheapest bullets ive found is 4 bucks for 20.
walmart wants 7 bucks for 20
and i have 30rd clips that go in like 10 seconds lol

They don't all have bayonets, plenty can be found without them. And in some states it's ok to sell the BLADE bayonet models but not the SPIKED bayonet ones like on the Norinco (Chinese) model. It's very confusing.

oh ya,mine is different,no knife blade.
mine has a flat blade end.

I believe it is legal, every sks i have seen in real life in california (honestly not too many) has a bayonet, including all for sale at the gun show i went to, but i will have to look into that.
