This is horrendous. And there is no way fish would enjoy living in that compared to a nice tank with driftwood and plants.

You couldn't possibly know that for sure, unless you are a fish and we don't know it....

Horrendous for your eyes maybe, but I don't think a fish has the mental capacity to know the difference. Objects in the water are hiding places, regardless if it's a piece of wood or in between a scuba diver's legs. I'm confident when I say a fish would feel more comfortable in that tank, compared to a sterile glass box with no substrate and no decor, while they swim around freaked out by their reflection underneath. Throw a fish in a bare bottom tank for the first time and watch what they do. They immediately swim with their nose pointed down, and appear to panic when they see glass below.

Fine, maybe the fish don't care. But think about it, what would you rather live in? Something that mimics your natural habitat, or something as horrendous as this?

That's apples to duct tape. I'm not gonna compare myself to a fish, and I wouldn't compare a fish to a human.
