I lost big Red today-- i will never know why..?

thanks everyone..i will miss him because he was a true monster type... he had a temper and was full of personality..the other guy is mild and shy...

Man oh man that sucks. He may have died from old age. Anyway I feel for you. :(
 
Liz... you must have made that fish very happy... 7 years, that's 7 years more than a lot of other fish. RIP. He was a beautiful fish.

What a loss... I felt that from here :(

thanks very much.. i appreciate it... yes i did spoil him.. the best i could... he was just a fun guy,..thats what makes it tough... but i am doing okay.. thinking for sure he did have a good life.. maybe get another baby..
 
I'm so sorry to see him go Liz.:( I would cry if my 9 yrs old clown loach pass way, too.
 
Sorry to hear about the passing of Big Red, he was impressive. I guess we all have a certain amount of time allotted to us. They are so interactive and personable they become part of the family like a dog and loosing them is just as tuff. Maybe another young RD can become lucky enough to come under your care.
