I used to think they were over priced until I saw how much Yo-Zuri and Lucky Craft lures are. Then I stopped complaining. LOL

luckycraft is just ridiculous, i have mabey 3 of there crankbaits, and i won't fish them, because, as soon as i lose it, there goes my 20 bucks, yo zuri's alright in some cases, i've gotten some yo zuri stuff cheaper at conventions and such.

They are imported Japanese lures and everything in Japan is pricey. But true Lucky Craft lures are insane. Never used one before but I've used Yo-Zuri's before with lots of success.

I was actually thinking of buying a Lucky Craft Swimbait that was $50. I thought it was crazy them I read an article in BassMaster about swimbaits and they had links for other manufacturers. I checked out other manufacturers and a lot of their swimbait lures were in the $50-$80 range!!!

Forgot to mention my $17 Muskie Spinner from Mepps. I haven't used it and I bought it about 4-5 years ago. LOL

I haven't had a chance to go for Muskie yet here in WA.

Lucky Craft's are rediculous!!

I do like yo-zuris...better then rapalas actually, especially in salt water.

My favorite baits for bass besides the ones I already mentioned are

Senkos
buzz baits
Tournament Frogs
Bandit crank baits colored in rootbeer-chartues have caught me more small mouths then any thing else.
zara spooks

My #1 big bass lure for fishing in the south is a swimmin' jig with a Sassy Toad trailer. You can fish it on the top over weeds, swim through cover, or of course jig it on bottom.

I don't like using plastics, I dont know why but I just dont.

I like using hard baits. I hate spinner baits though. People rave about them but I have never caught anything on them ever!

My current favorite hard bait lure is the Rapala X-Raps. The one that has worked well for bass here for me so far is the Rainbow trout color.

I also like Yo-Zuri's minnow series but one thing I dont like about Yo-Zuris is that the lures sometimes feel too light for their size.

i love gary yamamoto senko's, i use them constantly throughout the year,
you guys have boats?

Down here soft plastics, spinner baits, and other weedless baits are best and most popular. Its simply too weedy to throw a non-weedless lure. Besides bass live very TIGHT to cover. My dats remind me of bass. They lay in ambush right next to the drift wood or what ever in my tank like I would imagine bass would do.

Have you ever used 10-12" tesxas rigged plastic worms? That is one of the hottest things right now. These worms are HUGE and youd think nothing could eat it but I swear Ive got 6" bass on a 12" worm!

I dont have a boat but I fish alot with people that have them. I do ALOT of wade fishing in streams and rivers for small mouth.
