LOL what a pain! At least you found out and life doesn't have to be one big headache, but still, nothing anyone wants to go through!

thank you all, can anyone explain the huge stomach? and I just added some more salt to the water

What kind of salt? Epsom salt is going to reduce swelling. Regular salt doesn't have that effect. Also, if he's constipated for any reason, it will also relieve that, so its benefits may be double in your situation. I tend not to add aquarium salt unless there's a specific benefit that I can see; in your situation, I'd use Epsom salt instead. Does his skin look any different than normal? Red, or irritated, or anything?

Yep. I accidentally bought the wintergreen kind one time LOL had to take it back. I didn't want minty fish. But, yeah, there's only one kind.

How much regular salt have you added today, and how much is already in there?

You should add the Epsom in increments. Treat 1/2 of the tank today, and the other 1/2 tomorrow... so if it were ten gallons (I know it's not haha) you'd do a half a tablespoon today, and half tomorrow. Take out some tank water and mix it up in a little bucket or pitcher before you put it in the tank, just like you would with regular salt.

I'd just like to add this since we're at the stage where you're adding the Epsom salt:

If you can, you should probably pick up the test kits from the other house (I'm guessing this is what you meant earlier) and test the tank he's in now. I know those fish are fine, so I'm sure it is fine, but as we discussed earlier, these tanks have been moved around, and so I'm a little worried about the beneficial bacteria. It's better to be safe than sorry, really.

This treatment should work, if it's going to, within a couple of days from your second dose. The combination of pristine water and the Epsom salt will reduce the bloat/swelling, and if he's constipated at all, relieve that as well.

If, after this time, he's still experiencing problems, we have to look at the fact that he may have some type of bacterial infection and can't fight it on his own because his immune system has been so weakened. At that point, I'd move to a hospital tank and medicate with an antibiotic. The reason for moving him is that this will kill all bacteria, and so it will take out the biological filter.

You could begin medicating him now for this, and some people might advise that. However, since he doesn't have any outward signs of infection, I would wait. That is up to you, of course. Basically, if you don't see any change with the Epsom salt, know that the next course of action would be to medicate him.

I really hope that the Epsom salt does the trick without having to medicate further, and I hope he starts feeling better soon.

Now that I'm thinking about this more, I'm worried about not medicating right away. I have PM'd Lupin so that he can advise you as to the best step. The Epsom salt, as I said, will help with swelling or constipation. The symptoms haven't been around for long, but he was in that tank a long time before you moved him, and I wasn't taking that into account at first. I'm sure Lupin will let you know whether or not you should begin treating with an antibiotic tonight, as well, and probably tell you what kind to use.

hello all, justonemoretank-thank you for all the input!!! The epsom salt worked like a charm! =) After the first day, it looked noticeably better, and by day two the swelling went down and he was almost his normal size, today he looks AND FEELS LIKE HIMSELF! (his tail is more up then usual though, maybe cause he's still getting better...)that epsom salt was a lifesaver!!! and I can't thank you enough, I really thought he wasn't gonna make it, and that upset me!
UPDATE TODAY:
He ate! And I checked the levels in both tanks: the levels in tank he's in are good-ph is low (but I had a blackwater setup) and the tank he was in-Perfect across the board-ph is at about 7.4ish-I'm gonna keep him in the tank he's in for a while, I'm doing a small water change today (water out of the drain is 8.0!)
