I need your help on a decision and suggestion, please read.

how big do grammodes get?
so how does this sound then
1 green terror
2 convicts
1 Mayan
1 carpintis
1 Veija argentea
2 Salvini
2 Lysoni
2 grammodes
couple cutteri as dithers
Do this sound about right?
 
6" for a Grammodes if you have a BEAST, and it will take FOOOOOOOORRRRRREEEEEEVVVVVEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR to get there.
 
You want a true aggressive tank then pick 5 cichlids and rasie them as Juvies.
Right now I have a male Trimac 12", Male Barred Midas 10", Male Red Devil 10", and a Female Dovii 8" plus I have a 10" Endi. Bichir and trust me the tank turns heads!! BTW Bichir is not a cichlid just wanted something different. In the past I had a Trimac, Red Devil, Black Belt, Texas Escondido, and a Female Dovii in my 240 gallon and it worked out well. Trick is too get them at the same time and as juvies(the smaller the better) I am not going to say that they dont flare or fight at times-but that goes with the territory. Oh and have plenty of caves!
 
A somtimes safe bet is too stay away from Umbee and Dovii-here are some options any 5 of the above has worke for me:
RD, BB, Barred Midas, Festae, Jag, Kraussi, Pike Cichlid, Trimac, Buttikefori-yes Buttikefori, Escondido Texas, Motaguense... these are fish that I had together at one time or another.
