i think both are males...lol!

2years ago, mine did that too.i have to separate the other male before i got them to breed.and yes, very hard to find the eggs especially in that type of tank set up.better set up a breeding tank for best result.
i followed what terryR teached me.i set up a tank with plastic plants, the grass type designs, and was adviced to use those spikey and hard so that the pair will have a hard time picking/eating the eggs.they are very good at sniffing out the eggs.

what i have g@y fish?!?....i geuss thats what i get for buing them from petsmart:ROFL:...

i have been told that one of them is female...their anal fins look different one is thicker then the others, maybe it is harder to see it in the vid...the thinner is longer then the stouter fin...

so if the 2 are deffinatly male...then what the hell are they doing?
who knows. i have seen male bichir getting confused and cupping the anal fin and nudging the other male by the tail, but it was only for an instant. haven't seen something to the extent like yours. Also at least in this video, the interest is one-sided coming from one of them...the other one seems indifferent or annoyed and trying to get away.

before all three were going at it...no running and they were doing it for 15hrs nonstop:screwy:

maybe it's a teritorial issue...i have witnessed my breeding pair fought brutally when transferred them in a new tank.the female bit one of the male's pectoral fin for 2 hours.she did not let go.they even do the flaring movement just like cihlids do.
