Thanks mike, your right maybe i should just meet girls and try to pick them up. Its just everything happened so fast, my life changed completely within 24 hours. Im too young to go to bars and i cant even drink yet. i dont have the first clue in where to meet girls because i havent looked. In high school it was like easy to just find a girl now i dont know where to start, my self esteem is shot. If i find someone i think is attractive, i dont want to be creepy and like just go up to them and say oh i think you look amazing would you like to go out sometime
 
it's not hard man. saying anything puts you above most guys that just sit and stare and say nothing. hell, go hang out at a jamba juice with 10 pieces of paper with your number on it. Just keep handing them out till they are all gone. at least 4 will call you back man.
 
Life sucks at times man you just gotta find a way to keep your head up. Life is to short to be sad and feel like your stuck in a hole. I've never been cheated on but i can only imagine how that would feel. There is plenty of girls in the world. 3,500,000,000 more women in the world. Even if you relax and be yourself some girl is going to notice you and be interested. I'm 20, turning 21 soon and life has been pretty rough for me lately aswell, a year ago my best friend got hit by a train on their way to go ice fishing. I was supposed to be with them. 3 of them died. I was in a horrible mind set for the past year and a half, but i realized that there is better stuff out there and took some time to find stuff to keep my mind off things. I have taught myself how to fish, got into wilderness camping and canoeing, and last year i became a fish keeper for the first time. Now i have a 56 and 72 gallon aquarium. Obviously your a fish keeper because your on this site. So you already know what makes you happy. I suggest you take some time like i did, and try new things and try to discover what you like and who you are. Try things you have always wanted to do. life is to short to sit around and think about things you wanna do and get your head in the gutter. You have to try things and try to live life with a smile. Hobies are the best things in the world man. Enjoy yours. - Owain

Seriously though, you are only 19 - young and plenty of time to find someone that is right for you -- just look at it that way, her leaving just made room for the right girl to come into your life. The fire pit is a good idea, it will help you blow of some steam and get a little closure....

Play the field a little, but avoid getting into a serious relationship too soon.
 
i was cheated on a few times at your age. didn't surprize me because of the type of girls i was messing with

but my highschool sweetheart did break my heart. her best friend told me, it was really hard to take, but i found that going to the strip club with a fake id really helped ease the pain

there's nothing i can say to help you because i know you will miss her regardless. but you just gotta keep your head up and be glad you found out now and not later. once you find someone else you will forget all about this girl. you will look back at this and think how stupid you were to be so hung up on her. it really is a waste of time and energy to be so down but you can't help it. yes, throw everything away if it helps, hang out with your buddies and keep yourself busy. it helps to keep your mind off it all
