im no expert but i just bought a 2" temensis and it looks the same maybe a little more green instead of yellow. and i just bought a 6" arapaima he's a beast
I have two monocs 
And the fish I posted has not been in my possesion for a good 5 days And the pic will come up later when it is larger.. Then maybe we can have some real ID on it MAYBE

ID'ing Cichla by color is something I would wait at least a year to do if you are not too experienced So are you guys telling me I need to awake this thread in 6 months
Boosten, where are you seeing red eyes? Mine don't show any red eyes. My larger 7" mono/ocell has red eyes but these guys have nothing.
Can anyone confirm or deny if Nick got all these (Orino's
) all at once and all from the same place? He had several come in and I'm wondering if they came in on several different orders or all at once.

I ordered orinos cuz those are my personal favorites. I guess only time will tell. I recieved them on 5/22 and we got 23 of them. I ordered from Nick because I thought he had a good reputation but I guess that is not exactly the case with cichla I don't know exactly how many are left out there. I know have 2 and Tug has some along with another one of my buddies.
Why is the head shape different than my monos? What is a orinos head shape supposed to be like?
I guess maybe I will have to order from Rapps if I want orinos...

well in that case im hoping for you also bro...
and yes if you want orino's maybe try a different source for now... or until N-E can recover from this on-going saga....i will post a pic for you of my latest juvie (orino) and maybe you can learn the difference from there
