That really doesn't make much sense.

Well sorry I couldnt explain it better for you . Like I said im not 100% sure as to why its done like that but I know thats how to get the best result in fry.

I don't bother with Severum so in this case I plead a tad ignorant to the Red Spotted strain. Just saying that sterility is a more plausible explanation over dying fry.

Doesnt really make sense to me either. I dont know why it happens to ebjds when you breed it with another ebjd thr fry die but when you breed a bgjd and ebjd most the time its successful. So weather its that they are infertile or whatever all I know is the fry die.

That could very well be the same problem with red severums

I'm almost positive that super reds are infertile and that's it's just a color strain in golds.

I dont think that 100% true . My brother had a a pair of red severums spawn successfully but that the fry never had a chance with 2 pictus catfish

I might get one in trade for my 55. And additional cash. My stock possiblilites would triple with the width over the 55. Or if I can find a deal ill maybe get a 125 or a larger tank.

-Andrew

If your going to get a 75 go with a 90 (4" taller) if your going to go with a six foot tank go atleast 150. the extra height is better.

If you want a realllly wide tank you could get a 180 (2 feet wide)

Actually if you really think you want that 500 in the future you should just go with the biggest you can find on CL instead of building your 500 gal so maybe a 210?
