Very impressive to see your Dovii settling into a community tank. And he is a fine specimen at that too! Very nice :)

I did the quite opposite, my male originally came from a community tank and now he runs the show in my 6x2x2


I wish you luck and just hope he doesn't turn. I'd be keeping a very close eye on him, but I think time will tell..

When I see your male Dovii socializing like that with yer other fish, all that comes to mind is that Snake feeding scene from Road Trip with Tom Green:

"Go on Mitch, eat him..."
"Unleash the fury...."

IME it's possible for a fish to be a glass banger towards outsiders including the owner and be fine with other fish. :D
