I'll update again next month. We're still doing good. One thing though, I overestimated his size when I brought him home from the lfs. He was more like 11".

You better just hope that festae doesn't con him into making babies with her, then you might have problems but sweet story so far. Maybe I will be able to own a dovii some day.

Don't worry because if they have babies, the F0 Lenticulata pike will take them out no prob. That fish is most capably predatory fish I've ever owned. I've seen it chomp down on Jaguar eggs with a 13" male Jag and 8" female Jag battering the h*ll out of it. It would stay in place though and gobble down mouthful after mouthful of eggs. When it comes to catching prey, he is the best I've ever seen. He makes it look like he's catching shiners without even trying. Plus, the Dovii can't catch the pike with the large peices of driftwood to dart around. He's a perfect tankmate for the Dovii. I guess I'd worry about the Grammodes though, I can always move him if I have to.
