People find crazy ways to steal fish. A couple of years ago, somebody tried to steal a 6" tigrinus catfish from my LFS by putting it in a winter jacket with a plastic liner to hold water.

i think its sad....this is one of the reasons why the price for common fish are rising lfs are losing money to idiots like these.

Agree with aclockworkorange I ve dreamt of stealing fish for fun just for the challenge but would never actually do it lol not to mention I would always feel like someone was behind my back and in my conscience

I said earlier that stealing is stealing....But stealing, and then waiting around for the cops to show up is even more retarded.....
If you're going to steal, put up a fight & try to run so they can get you for evading and assault as well.
BTW, I would definitely support, vote, rally, or whatever in favor of bringing public caning to the U.S. as punishment for stealing.

In my area, about $25/ea for the RTC, and maybe $40-50 for the aro. I guess it depends on whether there were 5 fish or 6. The op has conflicting info.
